Hopefully, it turned out to be a worthy try.
During the workshop, We had gathering a team with a medical device businessman, a student majoring engineer, a graphic designer, three doctors and one student major management.
I had picked up several insights about organizing and teamwork during this short Hackathon.
1.To make a active social interaction begin with trading information
Sometime, I really felt tired to get social interaction in certain situation. It takes times and lots of "meaningful" words. But according to my experience, the more you hurry to talk ""something great" about what other think, the more the things work out the different ways.
It seems that it's not a good idea to "talk deep before you know the guy".
This time, I found a way of social acting to a new friend. Choose one seems to be willing to talk. Maybe the fist step to know a new guy is not to talk to he/she. In the another way, to observe the people you are interesting is the first step to know he/she. Then, a great talk begin with discussion or exchange the information connected between you.
With a great beginning of friendship, it will be more smoothly for a deeper interaction. And in my opinion, the timing of talking deep is more important than the content you want to talk, and always not to early.
2. To recognize the person's ability
Only when you work with the person in front of you, you really know what he/she get. There are too many people like to talk big. The reason why they talk big is not rather intentional but due to lack of the "really experience". So, lots of their talk based on the obscure observation and blurred vision.
But they are not definitely lack of ability. they need a guide and lead instead.
3. To share the information you get to the people who need it
It feel good to share something to other. But I often has a mistake sharing the wrong guy who are not interesting in the things you shared. It's a waste of time talk to the wrong guy. But it make a big different when you share the right guy who will return you some great insights.
